We are in need of new fences around our front and back yards the garden plot and soon to be chicken yard. I would love to hear what types of fences people have and any creative ideas for non traditional fencing.
Coyote fence is my preference for my garden but it would require a lot more branches then I have access to right now. I am thinking about tightly stringing tarps around the garden next year until I can build a nice wooden one.
What do type of fence you have? Please share some tips on the best ways you found to save money while building one.

Have you looked at Wattle fencing? It uses found materials and gives a rustic old world charm to a garden.

I'm sold! It may take a bunch of time to collect enough material to enclose my garden, but it would be perfect for keeping the chickies out!
Well, right now I've not nothing but time. I was going to trim the saplings along the woodsrow away from the driveway, so that will make a good project for tomorrow. I'll dream of my new fence while I lop!

Wow, that would be very pretty around my garden area and my driveway.. Maybe even a quaint little chicken house and yard.. Don't think it would keep in my goats though.. lol

The goats would probably eat right thru it.
