Last week we had a quick but hard wind storm blow through nearly uprooting my zucchini and snapping some tomato branches. My question is could the zucchini have suffered wind damage. Only one plant was really affected (pic are clickable)

I have checked all over for borers and other insects but nothing. As you can see it is growing new leaves and there are a few new squash on it so I haven't pulled it out. If it does die so be it I got five quarts off it all ready. Next year I will be using willow wickets to help keep them in the ground.
