Yippy I have native purslane growing on my property. I have only recently discovered the benefits of this cute little weed and am so pleased to see it growing in next years garden plot.
Do you think I could relocate any more I find?

As one that has removed alot of purslane ( just discovered it was edible lol) I can tell you that it is a hardy weed. After hitting it with the hoe and even tilling it it still comes up heck it even grows in my compost bin after being thrown there after weeding. So I don't see why you couldnt transplant it just give it a good drink after and let it go to seed so the seeds spread. http://www.turf.uiuc.edu/weed_web/index.htm
Great site that talks about purslane and helps with identification

In my part of the world purslane is called 'verdolagas' and is a welcome sight, even though most folks would consider it a weed. We add it to salads, sprinkle it raw on a bowl of beans, and mix it into scrambled eggs.
Isn't it great that one of the most nutritious things found in the garden isn't even grown on purpose?
