I have bees now I want chickens

Ok now that the bee's have been a big success I would love to keep chickens.:rolleyes: between me, my wife and son, we can go threw 2 dozen eggs in a week. So how many chickens will I need? And what kind of chicken would are best for eggs for nutrition since I am lifting wights once again now that my shoulder and elbow have finally healed.

depends on other factors. ie brown or white egg layer.From my experience the Black and red sex links lay the best with the bigger eggs.Althought they tend to burn out a little faster than pure breds.
