NY Times article on Flint, Michigan, urban gardens

I read this article about turning abandoned properties into gardens in Flint, Michigan, this morning and immediately thought about this forum. Just as the man in Milwaukee did, this gardener is turning inner-city desperation into hope. Of course, Flint needs that hope even more than Milwaukee:
