Hello
I live on a French island of the Carribean and have started a little vegetable garden since we arrived here with our 5 children back in August 2010.
What's great here is that things grow very easily and very fast. I grew melons and cucumbers and everything looked great with lots of fruit when suddenly the plants started to dry out and finally died one by one!!! Does anyone who lives in similar weather know what happened?
Also, I have tomatoes but I fight a lot with the birds who eat them even when they are green! I have done everything from nets to CDs, nothing works. Does anyone know a good way of protecting them please?
I'm happy to be part of this forum!
