As far as exposure, yes, listing on Amazon was tactical. I have a website, but not too many people know about it. I sell well through my little craft boutique booths, but the real exposure has been local. Amazon is international/national, so the exposure on their site will be of enormous value to me. It might lead people back to my own site as they receive their products and read the label -which contains my website address. I may not need Amazon forever, but I do need them to get rolling. I will tell you a little secret, however. I've had to mark everything up 10% on Amazon because their cut is so big. So if you'd like the same thing a bit cheaper, buy it through my website (link in siggy).
