Hey all,
I'm new here, excited to see what's happening! We purchased chickens from MyPetChicken.com last year, and were really happy with them.
We learned one lesson the hard way, though, that I want to pass on. Chicks are really susceptible to upper respiratory infections, and we lost two. Because it can get so hot and humid here so fast in early summer, the vet told me to get them OUTSIDE where it is breezy, even if they seem a little young, as soon as it gets steamy. They looked really funny in their coop, shown below, when they were 6 inches long!
