I know, I normally stick to chickens, but worms are a part of poultry management also, as they do break down chicken waste for gardening.

Also, after every heavy rain, I dash out to scoop up compost worms from the pavement with my trusty spatula! Knowing which worms are best helps that selection process.. there are lots of photos online of red wigglers to help out with picking out the best species. Nice article. My wife makes me double bin the worms when i bring them in for the winter. It's really a good idea. Keeps the boys where they belong and will prevent any messy spills. That makes for good relations between the boss of the house and me!
