So, we just moved into a new place not to long ago, and now that it's spring all kinds of things are coming up. I have a VERY large set of plans for what I want to do with the yard and garden, but don't want to 'kick out' any plants that I like that I can work into my ideas. I am not against ornamentals at all, and have a large flower garden area that I am going to do, so I am not against keeping anything easy and pretty around.

I am not sure what these two bushes are. Any ideas? Sorry if the pics aren't clear, I took them with my cell phone. Thanks for any ideas!

It looks a lot like a bush I have in my front yard. I believe it is called spirea. I have a variety called goldflame spirea. It is very similar to this. Maybe someone will come a long and give a definitive answer.

Looks like a spirea bush to me. they transplant fairly easily so you can move it if you don't like the location.
