On October 4th, 2008 Rodale Institute sponsored the opening of The Rose Kennedy Greenway Farmer’s Market in downtown Boston. I was proud to be one of the many local urban gardeners that were there to usher in this much-needed fresh vegetable market. Look at all of the vibrant colors of fresh fruits and vegetables. This is what good health looks like.
That day was so special to me because I met tons of other people who also want the best for themselves and their families in terms of the food they eat.
Look at all of the smiles and joy that fresh, healthy food gives. Now, I know what “down to earth” really means.
