When it rains it pours they say, and boy has that been true this month. I had a hugely
successfull trip to Los Angeles with the world premeire of the film Public Enemy
Welcome to the Terrordome.
From Los Angeles I flew to Tucson to be with my Producer Renee Bishop and Michael Fletcher from Farmers Almanac TV. That was a blast too, seeing all the PBS shows people are pitching was a trip.
I still had a bit of time to do some last minute work in the garden as well, so check out that article as well.
Please keep forwarding my email along and encourage your friends to sign up for my newsletter at my website. The website development is back on track. I am really happy with what Brianna is doing with it. Check out the preview here: www.sonoradesignworks.com/clients/gardengirl/main-1.htm

Here I am with my full red carpet grin on. Pretty cool though, the camera's the lights...the red carpet is really gray!
I met Sam Brown of HBO films and she grows some killer Heirloom Tomato's, but can her's beat this years monster?
Giant Tomato
We also were blessed with some interesting press. We will be in New York with the film at the end of this month. Hope to see you all there soon, I'll send out more info later.
So then after the big Public Enemy screening it was of to Tucson, Arizona for the APT(American Public Television) fall marketplace with my Producer Renee Bishop and the CFO Michael Fletcher from Farmers Almanac TV. I am really excited to get to work with Renee, her experience is unmatched. I feel that she is the kind of producer that will make the talent(me) and the message of sustainable living something that becomes a true household world and a call to action. Wait till you see what we do together it will knock your socks off!
The trip was incredible. I met so many people, who were so supportive. Farmers Almanac TV has signed me up as the host for Season III of the show. How cool is that? A brief thanks goes out to all the folks at Farmers Almanac TV and I'm sure this marks the beginning of a long relationship, with some very good folks.
I hope to launch my blog on www.farmersalmanactv.com very soon. Check them out they are the original resourceful living guide.
Window Box
This is a amazing herb garden window box we made for Season III of Farmers Almanac TV. The smell is incredible! This project was really inexpensive as well!
